I avoid working in countries where porn production is illegal, so we have never had a problem with the police.
There was an unfortunate situation in Guatemala which actually ocurred several years after we shot in that country. But it was caused lies that the local media made up, claiming that we had shot sex scenes in national monuments.
Some ¨national monuments¨ (basically 17th century Spanish ruins) were visible in the non-sexual story scenes, but all sex scenes were actually filmed in private homes. But since the media accused the local government of colaboration in the ¨defilement¨ of their momuments, the Guatemalan government examined the film, and held a press conference in which they cleared the matter up. The film, by the way, is MEN AMONGST THE RUINS.
that's an ironic name considering the controversy hahahaha
I know you shoot all over the world. Have the government or police ever give you trouble or confiscate your films?
